The Business Analyst acts as the interface between business stakeholders, product management, architecture and software development teams, translating business needs into clear, structured and technically feasible requirements.
The role is suitable for projects involving the modernization of existing applications, development of new digital services, system integrations, cloud transformation and optimization of business processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, clarify and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into structured requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, architects, developers, DevOps engineers and QA teams.
- Organize and moderate requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions.
- Analyze existing applications, processes and system behavior in order to identify functional dependencies and improvement opportunities.
- Support the modernization and replacement of legacy systems.
- Define and document functional flows, business rules, interfaces and data-related requirements.
- Support the specification of REST APIs, system integrations and service interactions together with technical teams.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies and dependencies in business requirements.
- Ensure that requirements are clear, complete, testable and technically implementable.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning and prioritization activities.
- Collaborate with QA teams in defining test scenarios and validating implemented functionality.
- Support business stakeholders during acceptance testing and rollout.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date functional and requirements documentation.
- Act as a communication bridge between business and technical teams.
